There is no such thing as being too young, or too old to think a certain way. Every person has a different wind, pushing them in a different direction, at a different pace. We do not all mature at the same rate. We do not all experience everything in the same way. One person's physical journey, may be another person's mental one. Even if we say one thing, this does not necessarily mean we are oblivious to another. People know, people have the intellectual abilities to succumb problems and to witness certain things...but we may choose to ignore them for one reason or another. This does not make us foolish, nor seemingly immature. Being cynical does not make you seem like an old crow, nor does it mean that you will never let your guards down. That can automatically be a part of your personality, and could have been that way for a while. Anyways, the point of this is not to categorize a person, if you do not know the true depths behind their stories.
